ECPE - Essay Types with examples

Παρακάτω θα αναλύσουμε διεξοδικά τους πέντε (5) απαιτούμενους τύπους έκθεσης, σε σχέση με την εξέταση ECPE:

1. Narrative Essay - Αφηγηματική

Introduction	Restate the topic as a general issue that needs to be addressed (Επαναδιατυπώστε το θέμα ως ένα γενικό ζήτημα που πρέπει να αντιμετωπιστεί).
Main Body	§1. Approach the topic as a general issue (Πλησιάστε το θέμα, ως ένα γενικό ζήτημα). §2,3. Narrate your personal example. Break it into 2 or 3 paragraphs. Before the main event – After the main event (Δημιουργήστε τα δικά σας επιχειρήματα. Διαιρέστε τα σε 2 ή 3 σημεία).
Conclusion	Discuss the general influence of this specific event (Συζητήστε για τη γενική επίδραση του συγκεκριμένου φαινομένου/γεγονότος).

2. Problem Solving Essay - Δίνοντας λύση σε πρόβλημα

Introduction	Restate the topic as a general issue that needs to be addressed. Mention the problem and tell that solutions do exist (Επαναδιατυπώστε το θέμα ως ένα γενικό ζήτημα που πρέπει να αντιμετωπιστεί. Αναφέρετε το πρόβλημα και δηλώστε πως υπάρχουν λύσεις αντιμετώπισης).
Main Body [Version I]	§1. Analyse the problem: Aspects of the problem and negative consequences (Αναλύστε το πρόβλημα - αρνητικές συνέπειες).  §2,3. Provide the solutions. Break it into 2 or 3    paragraphs. Each paragraph is devoted to one solution. Show how things will be better if you put this solution into practice (Π αράξτε  λύσεις σε 2 ή 3 σημεία. Κάθε παράγραφος είναι αφιερωμένη σε μία λύση. Αποδείξτε πώς τα πράγματα θα είναι καλύτερα αν εφαρμοστούν οι παραπάνω λύσεις).
Main Body [Version II]	§1. 1st  aspect of the problem and its negative consequences. Possible solutions and its positive results (Πλευρά του προβλήματος και αρνητικές συνέπειές της. Πιθανές λύσεις και τα θετικά της αποτελέσματα).  §2. 2nd  aspect of the problem and its negative consequences.  Possible solutions and its positive results.  §3. repeat the same pattern if it is required.
Conclusion	Express the confidence that if the solutions are implemented the problem will be solved (Εκφράστε την άποψη πώς τα πράγματα θα είναι καλύτερα αν εφαρμοστούν οι παραπάνω λύσεις).

3. For & Against Essay - Υπέρ / Κατά

Introduction	Restate the topic as a general issue that needs to be addressed. (Do not state your opinion here) (Δεν εκφράζω την γνώμη μου εδώ/δεν διαλέγω στρατόπεδο)
Main Body	§1. Negative aspects of the issue.  Start with a clear topic sentence. Use appropriate linkers (Αρνητικές πτυχές του ζητήματος. Ξεκινήστε με μια σαφή πρόταση . Χρησιμοποιήστε κατάλληλους συνδέσμους).  §2. Positive aspects of the issue. Start with a clear topic sentence. Use appropriate linkers  (Θετικές πτυχές του ζητήματος. Ξεκινήστε με μια σαφή πρόταση . Χρησιμοποιήστε κατάλληλους συνδέσμους).
Conclusion	Repeat the two aspects and express your opinion. (Επαναλάβετε τις δύο πλευρές και εκφράστε τη γνώμη σας). Considering all the above, it is clear that... outweigh the…

4. Opinion Essay - Προσωπικής Άποψης

Introduction	Restate the topic as a general issue that needs to be addressed. State your opinion. (Εκφράζεται άποψη επί του θέματος που θα αναλύσετε πιο κάτω).
Main Body [Version I: only your opinion]	§1. 1st aspect of the issue. Start with a clear topic sentence. Use appropriate linkers. §2. 2nd aspect of the issue. Start with a clear topic sentence. Use appropriate linkers.
Main Body [Version II: mention the opposing view]	§1. Your opinion. Start with a clear topic sentence. Use appropriate linkers. §2. The opposing view. Analyse the opposing view and explain why it is wrong.
Conclusion	Summarise your view. Leave the readers with a thought provoking idea (Περιγράψτε συνοπτικά την άποψή σας. Αφήστε τους αναγνώστες με μια δυνατή σκέψη).

                 

  

  

5. “Unique” Essay: tasks that not quite fit any mold - Υβριδική

                                

Read the title carefully and number the points that it raises.
